The University of Lending is the most comprehensive training program for credit unions today.
Are you seeing an influx of online applications? Are your members embarrassed to ask you for help? Is your approval ratio low but delinquencies are on the rise? Credit unions that will prosper in this economy will be those credit unions who have the best trained loan officers and decision makers. With the rising cost of living, interviewing skills need to be at their best and the right questions need to be asked. What is your team doing with applications that aren’t completed? Are you turning down members without talking to them and getting a full picture of their situation? Members need help, and if you can’t give it to them, you run the risk of them going elsewhere and potentially losing the relationship altogether.
