Lorrie Wohlfeil
Lorrie Wohlfeil, a graduate of University of Kansas, began her career serving credit unions in 1995. Her passion for serving the underserved was instilled by her father, Rex Johnson, the founder of LSCI. As Lorrie continues carrying on her father’s legacy, her mission is to keep fighting for the underdog. She firmly believes everyone deserves a second chance and that a better day is ahead. Her training concepts center on this belief and are instilled in her clients, from hands on training with emloyees and members in a live environment, to classroom training using real time examples from the credit union.
Ed Swanson
Ed Swanson, Vice President/Consultant at Lending Solutions Consulting, has 35 years of experience in the credit union industry. Ed has assisted hundreds of credit unions throughout the country strengthening consumer lending, loan underwriting, risk based lending, mortgage lending, indirect lending, collections, sales development, member service and incentive programs.
Ed has spoken for over 45 Credit Union Leagues on a variety of lending and member service related topics. Swanson is based in the IL marketplace, and his last credit union position was with Patelco Credit Union (San Francisco, Assets: $5 billion+). He worked for Patelco for 10 ½ years where he developed and managed a Walgreens division for the credit union at the Walgreens corporate headquarters.
Jack Kelly
Jack Kelly, Jr. joined the Lending Solutions Consulting team in 2007. His 28 years of experience in sales management, employee training, and business development have proven to be a valuable asset to the credit union movement. Jack’s passion is developing lenders to always find a solution for the member and build the lifetime relationship between the member and the credit union. Jack’s core is building successful businesses. Whether it is building strong Branch Managers through the Branch Manager Workshop, one-on-one executive training programs, strategic planning sessions, or executive compensation programs, Jack’s goal will always be to help credit unions grow so they can ‘serve the underserved.’
Bob Schroeder
Bob Schroeder, Executive Vice President / Consultant of LSCI, has 30+ year experience in collections and lending. Bob specializes in improving the financial performance of LSCI client credit unions. Prior to LSCI, Bob spent 11 years with two of the largest credit unions in the country, rising to the level of Vice President of Credit. A CEO of a community credit union for 21 years, the credit union experienced a period of rapid growth and strong earnings under Bob’s leadership.
Tracy Bruce
Tracy Bruce began her career with LSCI in January of 2000. As Senior Vice President of Marketing/Finance/Operations, Tracy oversees all aspects of the University of Lending from marketing and training materials to the financial transactions for our clients on all products. Since 2020 and the pandemic Tracy has served as an intricate part of bringing the University of Lending and all other courses online. Prior to working for LSCI Tracy was chosen for the College Program and spent her junior year of college at WIU interning for Walt Disney World. After moving back to Illinois from Florida, Tracy had a chance encouner with Rex Johnson and was hired as part of his growing team.
Rebecca Schmiegelt
Rebecca (Becki) Schmiegelt joined LSCI in May 2015. Becki currently directs LSCI’s Loan Audit program where she reviews hundreds of loans each month checking for sound decision making, training opportunities, and compliance to policy. She specializes in finding trends and working with credit unions to enhance their lending policies and guidelines. Prior to LSCI, she spent 3 years at Corporate America Family Credit Union as a Business Development Officer. She also has experience in the collections and card services areas of a major national bank. Becki holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia College of Missouri, and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University.
